The Founder: Joe Romson

Being a pilot for over 20 years, aviation has always held a special place of passion and dedication in our founder's life. Since childhood, he has been fascinated with just about anything that could fly. Like so many his age, he grew up with the space program and wanted to be an astronaut. Completely satisfied with his career as a Cardiovascular Anesthesiologist, he never-the-less always strives to be the best pilot possible. Flying isn’t a “hobby,” it is a calling, a way of life.

One constant theme has been his lifelong desire to learn. It was the vision of linking the vast wealth of knowledge held by aviation educators to like-minded people who thrive to learn, that led to the creation of Aviation Webinars. Aviation Webinars is a way to give back to the Aviation Community, a way to say thanks to a way of life that has enriched his life.

His flying career has been blessed with opportunities to fly with and learn from, many great teachers. These were aviation educators who were more than willing to pass on their knowledge, expertise and love of flying for the benefit of others. Aviation Webinars is way of continuing that tradition by spreading that precious resource to an even broader audience.
